We’ve all been devastated by the destructive flash flooding in Nepal.
Tens of thousands have been affected.
The question now is what can we do?
Batase village is beyond the affected regions and is fine but Som is heading back to Nepal in the next few days to liaise with people on the ground to work out how we can best help. Our focus as always, will be on the children. So many have been displaced or left orphaned. We have room at the FHC hostel in Batase and can provide emergency shelter and relief in the short term and support for those who need it in the long term.
Recovery will take years.
You’ve been so generous in your support of our work and we ask you to continue doing that in Nepal’s time of greatest need.
We will keep you updated with Som’s progress as he connects with hospitals and social workers in the affected areas. We’ll do whatever we can to help.
Thank you for your generous support.
