We are especially proud of our girls Anita and Munu from the FHC Hostel.
They are the top scorers in the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) at the Batase School. Their hard work, dedication and determination have truly paid off.
This achievement is not only their success but also an inspiration to many other students. We are so happy to see them growing with confidence with bright dreams for the future.
Since the age of six, Anita Tamang has been part of the FHC family and now she has successfully passed Grade 10 with a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.53 (out of a possible 4).
Anita came to the FHC hostel after losing her mother at a very young age and it has been a blessing to watch her grow into a strong, kind, and inspiring young woman.
Her journey has not always been easy but through courage, determination and hard work, she has reached this wonderful milestone.
Munu Tamang achieved a GPA of 3.44 on her SEE examination. Munu came to the FHC Hostel in 2016 with her two older sisters – Akriti and Bindu. Their father died and their mother was too unwell to care for them so FHC invited them in.
This is not Munu’s first academic award. She was voted ‘Best Student of the Year’ in 2024. And she won the Batase School quiz competition in 2022.
Anil writes “Munu came to the hostel at a very young age after the heartbreaking loss of her father. Together, with her older sisters, she found a safe home and loving support at FHC. Since then, FHC has stood beside them like a parent, supporting their education, care, and daily needs throughout the years.
Today, we are proud to see Munu becoming a confident and hardworking young woman with beautiful dreams for her future. Her journey is a reminder that with love, care and opportunity, children can rise above challenges and shine brightly.
We are incredibly proud of you, Munu. Keep believing in yourself and continue chasing your dreams.”
