Congratulations Akriti Tamang

We are very proud of Akriti. Akriti has just successfully completed her higher education and has chosen to go on to university. She is the first student to come up through the FHC Hostel to go onto university.

Akriti came to our hostel many years ago with her two younger sisters Bindu and Munu because their father passed away and their mother was struggling with mental-health issues. Akriti embraced the opportunity offered to her by FHC and studied hard to achieve great success throughout her school studies. She should be very proud of her achievements.

Akriti is enrolled to study a Bachelor of Business Management at the Saraswati Multiple Campus of Tribhuvan University in Kathmandu.
And no sooner had we aired the news of her enrollment, we found a sponsor to financially support Akriti for the duration of her 4-year course. Thank you Roz Pulley…again. Roz is a long-time friend of FHC and has sponsored children through our Hostel in the past.

Akriti’s success and ambitions will not just be of benefit to her. She is inspiring other young girls with what is possible for them too.
