Long term FHC sponsors Kirsty and Shaun Nancarrow are heading to Batase in October with donated goods.
It will be Shaun’s first visit to Nepal and he is looking forward to meeting sponsor children Jenisha Tamang and Rabeena Chalise, and volunteering at the FHC Hostel.
Shaun hopes to teach the girls Australian Rules Football.
This will be Kirsty’s third visit to Batase, her first since writing Himalayan Dreams: The Story of Som Tamang. She can’t wait to reconnect with the many villagers mentioned in the book.
Thank you to everyone who donated items for Kirsty and Shaun to take to the FHC hostel. And thank you to Singapore Airlines. They allow 15kg of excess luggage per person for FHC donations.
